These folks are the best! Great, local owned business. I found them because the owner himself had taken the time to respond to someone on a reddit thread looking for HVAC recommendations. When I called, they were able to schedule my service the very next day! They provided a loaner portable AC unit so that I wasn't suffering in the meantime. The staff was very communicative of status updates and thoroughly explained the issues I was experiencing. ALSO, THEY HAVE REALLY COOL SHIRTS THAT WERE DESIGNED BY A LOCAL ARTIST!

Degree maintains HVAC systems in three properties I manage. Previously, I had four other HVAC companies attempt to fix one of the systems, all unsuccessfully. Degree was the fifth company I called for that problem. Their technician properly diagnosed and fixed it. I've been using Degree at all 3 properties ever since.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a geothermal heat pump last?
The lifespan of a geothermal system depends on the equipment, installation, maintenance, and operating conditions. The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that indoor geothermal components can last up to 24 years, while the underground ground loop can last 50 years or longer.

Most installations take between one and three weeks, depending on your property size and system complexity.

You’ll enjoy lower energy bills, a reduced carbon footprint, enhanced comfort, and long-lasting equipment with minimal maintenance needs.

Geothermal heat pumps generally require less maintenance than many conventional HVAC systems, but regular service is still important. Filters, system controls, pumps, and other components should be checked as recommended, and professional service can help identify developing issues before they affect performance.
Not necessarily. Geothermal systems can use different ground-loop configurations depending on available space, soil conditions, and the property itself. Horizontal loops typically require more open land, while vertical systems can work where surface space is more limited.
